🔹 FAQS🔹

Leatherette is a synthetic material designed to mimic real leather while producing clean, high-contrast engraving results.

Yes, Laserhyde leatherette and adhesives are specifically engineered for professional hat patches and work perfectly well with heat press applications.

Yes all Laserhyde Leatherette and adhesive  materials are laser safe and as well offer a Oeko-Tex 100 safety standard

Both CO2 and diode lasers are compatible. We recommend Laser powers above 20 watts, for better results, and for hat patches the RF tube is the best for precision and details.

Our recommended cleaner is a 60 to 40% ratio of LA Awesome to water. Lighty spray and wipe with a microfiber towel. Try to stay away from alcohol cleaners as they may damage the top surface or dull the patches  fiber engraved layer

We primarily use a premium sponge solid backing material for our backing. In our testing of other competitors who use primarily double fiber layer backing, we found that the cutting results were very poor, wen compared to ours, and the patch did not have enough stability in a fiber only backinglayer. With further testing we found in our pull test, the fiber backing peeled faster and more consistantly than the premium solid sponge style backing.
